Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of noted.app ("noted", "we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to them.
The service
noted lets you save content (links, recordings, voice notes, photos, text) into a personal library, where it's automatically transcribed and organized using AI. A free plan is available with a limited amount of transcription per month; noted Pro removes that limit and unlocks AI chat over your library, for a recurring subscription fee shown in the app before purchase.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information to create an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the content you choose to save — don't save content you don't have the right to save, or that's illegal, infringing, or harmful.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
Subscriptions
- noted Pro is billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
- Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends — manage or cancel anytime through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not through noted directly.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us directly.
AI-generated content
Transcripts, summaries, and AI chat answers are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on them as the sole source of truth for anything important — always check the original content.
Availability
We aim to keep noted available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We're not liable for lost content due to factors outside our reasonable control.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated content at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
